About Us

Asher was founded by the current Principal Engineer and President, Brent Taylor, P.Eng. We have been in business since 1993 as an Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) service provider and have completed Project Management and Engineering of over 2200 projects encompassing the entire project spectrum from feasibility study and Front End Engineering Design (FEED), preparation of Design Basis Memoranda (DBMs) and preparation of cost estimates, through detailed design, construction contract management and construction supervision, to commissioning, start-up and operational follow-up. 

We are practical, hands-on project managers and engineers, and the knowledge gained from completed projects is applied to future projects.  We are familiar with providing project management and engineering support to a wide variety of Clients including operating oil and gas companies, utilities, EPC groups, quasi-government and government clients. 

We have a good sense of what will work and what won’t work, what is practical and what isn’t and what is the best solution to meet requirements from both project management, technical, regulatory and environmental perspectives. We pride ourselves in clear communications, both written and verbal.
